*******************NEW RULE*******NEW RULE*********************************

On the Tours Home page I have a link for LTS files.

Click the link to get the files load them in you Links Dir located in My Documents. Open Links go to Email under Play

open the link and play the game. When the game is done you will be given the Option to send me your email file

After I get the file I will Post your scores. Score cannot be entered by you unless you play on-line with another member

You will need to reset your Player at the start of the YEAR and include your Players Pin file with each email. Failure to send this file

will result in the rd not counting. You can just send it as an attachment when the email box pops up. Also because

this is Off-Line you will be allowed only 2 resumes per rd. Anything over this and the rd will not count. AGain this is only

a Trail and can be stopped at anytime if things do not work out.  Eliminators  will still have

to be played On-Line.

Instructions for finding and attaching your Players Pin File

1). The Masters tournament is split into three sections, Elite, Championship and Professional.

2). All tournaments consist of 24 Meetings, which are played from Jan-Dec of each year.

3). Each meeting will consist of 4 games.  These Games can be played and reported in any order you like, as long as they are all reported by the deadline of that meet. It is not essential that you play the games in the correct order. As long as you get all 4 scores to me by the meeting deadline...

4). All 4 games must be played to qualify for the final leader board.

4a). Any player not com
pleting one meet in at least SIX consecutive meetings will be removed from the tour, however excused absences will not prevent you from being removed from the money board. This is all being done to keep the size of the mailing lists and the Money Boards down. It will also help me keep the database to a more manageable size. :) Any Players that have Donated to This Years Masters will Never lose their player number, and will not be removed, however they will lose their money if the following rule is not met. This will REWARD those players that play week after week.

4b). Any player, that leaves a game before the game is completed and fails to provide adequate reason, will be removed for unsporting conduct.

4c). All players should treat their partner(s) with the utmost respect (as they would/should on a real golf course) and players that constantly abuse this rule will be removed from the tour.

4d). Use of the Putting Assist. is not allowed. Please turn it off in your players setting. A PRO MOP has been created to use.  Get File HERE. For

Those that use Fast Play use this MOP

5). Leader boards:
Leader boards are updated immediately when you post your scores. However, if you want to see where you stand after any given game you'll have to have all previous games posted also. Otherwise you'll only see your posted scores listed at the bottom under incomplete posts.

All player are responsible for posting their results before the final deadline.
If for any reason lsmasters.com server is down and you can't get your scores posted before the deadline, you can email the result to me.

6). Playing your games:
To play your game, you can play against any of the other Master tour members. Regardless of the difficulty level that they play at (Pro, Champ or Elite).  However, you must play (obviously) at the difficulty level that you were assigned a start number for. If you have played your game already... and somebody needs to get their game played... you are welcome to help them out. However, only your FIRST score posted will count.
You can SPOT a player to help them complete their rds. Spotters report their score as 00. Spotters are required to report just like they were playing their rd, only post the score as 00 instead of the score shot in the rd.

All games must be played using STROKE play.
All games must be played from the Tees and conditions set by the moderator in the Masters Schedule.
The conditions and tees and pins will vary for all 4 games. Please make sure you know what they are (go to Tour Dates) before you start the meeting. This will avoid confusion.

7). Results.
The results of your game must be posted using the Post Scores link on the Masters home page.
BOTH players must post the scores of BOTH players games. This is explained better on the Report page.
If You do not Post your score along with your partners score, your score will be deleted, and only allowed when YOU report. REPORTING SCORES IS MANDATORY.

*************************************************************

Create a player to use with each level you play and another if you spot for others. Do not use your reg tour player to spot or for other tours games
1. A player for each tour Pro, Champ and Elite will need to be created to ONLY be used for you games at The Masters Tour.

Please reset the players stats each meet, OR keep them for the entire tour. Do not reset them if you want to keep your stats

for the year. Create your players using this format only (see below)
Example MP038_Ted_B

If a player does not complete the meet then it will have less holes but should be 18 holes per rd. This will tell me if a person skips out on someone during a game or plays the rd more than once. If a player skips out on you, email me and I can make a note of why your Pin File will be off.  If a player spots for someone use a diff player. Do not use your Tour player to spot games. You now have the option of resetting your player stats at the end of each meet. This will mean your Pin file will have 72 Holes played each time it is sent in.

2. All games played must be Verified at the end of the rd., and kept until the start of the next meet. That means NO MULLIGANS.  Name this file like this

MP###_rd#_M# Player Number, rd number, meet number.

Example MP038_rd1_M4 or MP038 rd1 M4

At the end of the meet I will select a few players by random to send me their files. Players must email the Zipped file to lsmasters38@comcast.net

Zip the file using this format

MP###_M#_First name_last Initial Player number, and meet number.

Example MP038_M4_Ted_B

Within this file needs to be 5 files. Your Pin File and 4 Verified files. Recording Games will not be needed at this time

Using the putting assit means INSTANT Disqualification from that meet. A 2nd offense will get you Banned

*************************************************************

8). All players are responsible for arranging times and dates of matches. These matches must be played by the meeting Deadline, and the results posted before the leader board deadline.

9). For each meeting you play, you will be awarded "Prize money". This will be added into the money leader board, and will accumulate with each meeting you play. The person with the highest figure at the end of the tournament will be deemed the winner of the tour.
NOTE: This "Prize money" is for the purpose of building the tournament leader board only. No actual prizes or monies can be won by playing in this tournament, as it is a "fun only" tournament (this paragraph has been added for legal reasons only).

10). Game rules:
a). Mulligans are Not to be used in the MASTERS, The Host MUST Turn them OFF before the game starts. Any player reported using them will be removed.
b). Gimmies will be allowed at a dist of 24 inches
c). Chipping on the green (under a distance of
25 yds) is forbidden unless there is fringe, fairway, sand trap or other obstacle which obstructs the path to the hole.
d). Dropping after going in a hazard.
When taking a drop after hitting into a hazard you can always select the drop location that Links LS initially offers you.
Otherwise you can drop back as far as you want on a straight line using the "drop back 50 ft. option" or you may drop the ball as close as possible to the position from which your last shot was played.
You MAY NOT drop the ball on an entirely different line (in the middle of the fairway at the same distance from the hole, for example) even though this is permitted by the overly lenient logic in Links LS.
e). Dropping by declaring an unplayable lie.
You may, at any time, elect to drop the ball. Links LS will automatically assess a one stroke penalty. In addition to the options described above under "dropping after going in a hazard" you may drop within about 8 feet of your current position but not nearer the hole.
The 8ft simulates "two club lengths" which is the regulation in real golf. Note once again, that selecting a drop under these circumstance does not entitle you to drop in the fairway at the same distance from the hole although the logic of Links LS would permit such a dro
p

f). (NEW) use of the pick-up ball option  This will not be allowed in Masters Play. All holes must be played out in full. In other words when the ball is in the cup the hole is finished.

11). Meetings for tour # 13
The order of the 24 meetings of tour 13 can be found on the Tour dates page.

12). All information pertaining to the tour will be posted on the web site or through the mailing list.

13). The tour Moderator has the final say in any disputes that may arise. This includes anything from a warning to removal from the tour for disobeying the rules.

Hit Counter Players read the rules since 01/01/08
