Here is where your players pin file is located and how you attach it with your email file sent from the Champ LTS games.
The players folder is located here
c\:documents and settings\application data\links2003\players
This is a hidden area that Microsoft felt we had no reason to go to
You have to go to My Computer or My Documents and on the top open tools
open view and find hidden files and folders
click the button to show hidden files. After you do this go to the Links2003 players folder by following the above instructions. An easy way to get to it easier from here on is to create a shortcut on your desktop of the players folder. This way you can open the folder from your desktop and add the players pin file as an attachment with each game sent in.
At the end of your rd you will see a box come up to give you the option to send your game. When you click on send your email box will pop up. Just select attachment and add your players pin file. Then click send on your email box and it will come to me to post your score.
This is a step that has to be done if this Off-Line play is going to work. Your players pin file should only show 18 holes played per rd. If it is not and you have not emailed me with the reason then I cannot count the rd. Once a rd is started it cannot be replayed. You are allowed to play each rd only one time so your first score counts. I know there are ways around this, just as there are when we play on-line so I trust the players here will play within the rules stated. If you don't you really only cheat yourself as this is just a game to have fun.
If this works well in Champ it could be used in Pro and Elite later on. This is a test so I hope it works and can keep the tour going. The way things are headed I am not sure we can keep going with just On-Line play. Seems it is just to hard for new players to get started.
